Email reminders about agreement expiration dates

SOFT4Lessee now automatically sends email notifications to alert users about upcoming agreement expirations. You can configure reminder settings for specific user groups, making it ideal for infrequent software users or when certain people need advance notice about expiring agreements.

The system allows you to set how far in advance to send warnings, and automatically emails a list of agreements that will expire within your specified timeframe. The reminder includes direct links to the specific agreements and their expiration dates for easy access and review.

Improvements

Pro-rata depreciation for Right-of-Use (RoU) assets

A new option allows depreciation of Right-of-Use assets to be calculated based on the actual number of days in the first, or both the first and last, lease periods. 

This can be enabled in the Lease Setup under System Feature Configuration → Payment → Use Pro-Rata for RoU. 

Reversal on migration

We have added an option to automatically reverse migration postings if they already exist in the General Ledger. This improvement saves time by removing the need for manual reversals and reduces the risk of duplicate entries or accounting errors during migration. This functionality can be enabled in Lease Setup → Migration → Reverse Migration Postings.

Below is an example of how reversal on migration would work after posting lease activation to the General Ledger.

Simplified company selection

Selecting multiple companies is now easier. Instead of manually entering filters, users can select several companies directly from a list page.
