PURPOSE

Microsoft is replacing "Custom Report Layouts" with "Report Layouts". We've updated product features to support document management. While "Custom Report Layouts" still function, mapping new documents and editing templates already present issues.

LAYOUTS MIGRATION

The layout migration must be conducted using the "Migrate to System Layouts" action found on the "Custom Report Layouts" page. This action migrates the selected custom report layouts for the page and updates document template settings across all companies.

"Migrate to System Layouts" action will update “Document Templates” automatically by assigning “Layout Report ID”, “Layout Name” and “Layout AppID".

SETUP

Once migration is complete, to allow the system to use Report Layouts instead of Custom Report Layouts, you need to set “Report Layouts for Document Templates” to “Report Layouts” in the “SOFT4 Setup” section for each company individually.

DEVELOPMENT

Per-tenant extensions must be reviewed and updated if "Custom Report Layouts" are used.
