5 How to create a new Service

To each Service, that could be sold to a tenant, should be created a Service card. Service could be included to the Contract template or added separately. Rent fee, utilities and administrative services are all supported. It is possible to add an unlimited number of supplementary services on demand. Service card contains these sections:

• General.
• Invoicing.
• Statistics.

• Open Services by search or from menu.
• Service list page will open. Click New action button in Service list window.

• Fill mandatory fields and other important information about the Service:
  • No. Enter Service number manually or system automatically would assign a unique number.
  • Description. Specify Service’s name. In this case it is Electricity, but also could be gas, water etc.
  • Gen. Prod. Posting Group. Select group on invoicing section that specifies a general product posting group. The code specifies to which general product posting group this particular Service belongs. It specifies which accounts in the general ledger the program would post to transactions involving this Service.
  • VAT Prod. Posting Group. Select group on invoicing section that specifies a VAT product posting group. The code defines to which VAT business posting group this particular Service belongs. It specifies which accounts in the general ledger the program will post to transactions involving this Service.
  • Invoicing Type. Select is this being charged in arrears or in advance.
  • Unit of Measure Code. Should be defined in case utilities service card (cubic meter etc.) is being entered.
