Scenario:
After initial leases upload to the system, there is a possibility to plan your budget for 2020.
- Status of your initially uploaded leases must be minimum “Signed”. Change Lease Status to “Signed” for all you Leases.
- To create a budget in the system, click “G/L Budgets” action button in the Role Center. “G/L Budget” page will appear on the screen. Click “New”, enter Name and Description of the budget and click “OK”.
- To create Budget entries, click “Create G/L Budget from Leases” action button in the Role Center. Enter “From Date”, “To Date” and your Budget Name and click “OK”.
Entries not created
Budget entries cannot be created for previous period, if it were already posted to GL.
- To analyze created budget entries, click “G/L Budgets” action button in the Role Center. Select the budget and click “Edit Budget” action button in the Ribbon.
- G/L Budget Summary page will appear on the screen. In “General” tab, “Show as Lines” field set to “G/L Account” option and “Show as Columns” field set to “Period” option. In “Filters” tab, enter “Date Filter” - 19-01-01..19-12-31 and in “Income/Balance G/L Account Filter” field select one from available options: Income Statement, Balance Sheet or Empty (means Income Statement + Balance Sheet ). In “Budget Matrix” part you can see all the amounts, which will be posted to GL during your selected period in total or split by each month.
